Commissions

I take on all commissions, ranging from portraits to paintings of your home/business. I generally work quite large especially with portrait work, as this suits my style, and pride myself on keeping prices affordable to most pockets.  I am able to paint from an ariel perspective as I do possess a drone, however providing the subject matter is within drone regulations.  For all commissions there will be a no obligation consultation, and there would be written confirmation as to the composition, size, etc.  I will keep yourselves updates as to the progress of the commission. Time scales can vary and can be dependent on current work load.  Generally as soon as the 30% non returnable deposit is paid within 6 weeks the piece should be completed. Please bear in mind that alterations can always be made, and until yourself as the customer is satisfied I wouldn’t be.  Please note Oil paintings are often made up of numerous layers, and developmental layers may look nothing like the completed composition so please don’t panic! they are structural guides only.

Quite literally anything. With Oil paint I can work on metals, paper, canvas, wood, plastics. In terms of subject matter, whatever is required. Sports events, public persons/ celebs. Still life scenes, maybe a favourite car or animal. Maybe a wedding venue. Please note any intimate or sentimental images will be given back, or deleted after the piece.
Is the work carried out in the studio or plein air?
Some subjects such as a building, cars, plein air work as string advantages to studio work.

On completion of any work, the build up pictures can be provided, its always interesting to how a painting is made up.
What time scale am I looking at?
Time scales as mentioned early can vary, dependent on my current work load. I’m often working on a number of pieces at the same time.

If this is for personal use, say for example a family portrait, so other family members can have a copy, of course please do. No painting can be reproduced for business uses, and as artist i maintain copyright. No copies of commissions would be copied, unless the customer agrees, say for adding to this website as an example of my work.
